Medium

The medium is the making of a piece of art and i’ve wondered how i could maybe incorporate invention into its design.

Option 1- Making with the medium.

There is an option to create a narrative and story of the inventor with the medium they made themselves. This is great practise for seeing inventors in place however there will be a lack of drawing which i believe is my strongest point.

This was a 5 minute mock up using the idea as Braille creating a portrait of its creator Braille.

I quite like the idea that comedy may come through this piece with the idea that it may become interactional and play on the idea of sight and touch. This would need to obtain light but this could be a play on revealing a portrait with the idea on an equal light surface it will be invisible to be being revealed and thus showing you the portrait behind the very invention you are seeing.
