Things and Characters

With being from the potteries i have always had an interest and found motivation with in the local ceramics that filled my home and others. I want to use some of them as characters in my work to not only give a sense of place but add to the idea of what this alien almost magical world of Stoke is like. I already have the idea of using the crying onions as the people at Hannah Dale’s funeral, so applying that metaphor.
