Kidda Kups

After large amounts of wondering whether the direction i was going was either too in the style of existing artists, or just not clear enough, I finally decided on something that i thought could have a lot of currency in its ability to talk about stoke stories through stoke pottery.

Here are some of my sketch book pages that i believe show the best ideas i had of the capsule. The idea being that each cup would have a separate story. They would almost become collectable much like Pokemon cards. Each cup having a different design to match each different mug. This would then allow me to see how each mug could differ between each person. Thus making each mug unique to one another.

It was around this time i realised that if i was going to tell the story then what font would i use, how would this effect each and every story with the limited space on the inside of the mug.

Here was a mug mock up i used my Clarice Cliff drawings as an example of what i believed to be the best style so far to replicate my idea.
